Two University of Cincinnati freshman basketball recruits face felony charges after a stolen check and credit cards were found on them at a Cincinnati bar, police said.

Louis Banks and Elnardo (Chip) Givens, both academically ineligible last year, were arrested late Friday for receiving stolen property at a bar near the university campus.

Banks and Givens pleaded not guilty at their arraignment Saturday and were released on their own recognizance.
