Molecular Biosystems Gets Further Funding

Molecular Biosystems Inc. has received an additional $750,000 in research and development funding from E.I. Du Pont de Nemours & Co., the companies said Wednesday. Du Pont, which owns 450,000 shares of Molecular Biosystems’ stock, has invested about $6 million in the San Diego-based biotechnology company.
