Christian Ethics Will Be Discussed
Christian ethics on the issues of nuclear war, abortion, capital punishment and mercy killing will be the focus of a workshop Sunday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Lowell O. Erdahl, bishop of the southeastern district of the American Lutheran Church, will be the keynote speaker at the workshop, which will center on his book “Pro-Life/Pro-Peace.”
Registration for workshops is at 1:30 p.m., followed by Erdahl’s opening address. Workshops will be held from 3 to 3:45 p.m. and include “Abortion--A Christian Doctor’s Persepctive” and “Educating Society in the Way of Nonviolence.”
