Pentagon Lists Names of 5 Victims on Stark

WASHINGTON —
The Defense Department has released names of five crew members killed in the attack on the U.S. frigate Stark. Additional names will be released once next of kin are notified.
DeAngelis, Christopher Werner, electronics technician, 23, Dumont, N.J.
Kiser, Stephen Greg, 36, electronics mate, Elkhart, Ind.
MacMullen, Thomas Joseph, gunner’s mate, 30, Darby, Pa.
Phelps, Jeffrey Lee, seaman recruit, 21, Locust Grove, Va.
Shippee, Robert Laurence, fire control technician, 35, Jefferson, N.Y.
