Swedish Dentist Chided for Seeing No Cavities

STOCKHOLM —
Swedish health authorities said Wednesday they are considering an upper age limit for dentists after the patient of an 81-year-old dentist complained that he had failed to spot over two dozen cavities.
The woman, who had been the dentist’s patient for eight years, filed a formal complaint after visiting another dentist who discovered 28 cavities and a host of inadequate filling work, the Social Welfare Board said.
