TRW Leases Space in Redondo Beach

TRW has signed seven-year lease agreements to occupy more than 500,000 square feet of office and engineering space in the new Redondo Beach Business Court. Commercial brokerage sources estimate that the total value of the leases exceeds $45 million.

The high-technology and aerospace giant has already moved into three of the five buildings at the project, and will occupy the other two by this fall. The $100-million complex is built on the former site of Aviation High School and is adjacent to TRW’s “Space Park” facility.

The five buildings will house the TRW Electronic Systems Group and Space and Technology group. About 1,500 people will relocate from neighboring facilities to the new buildings.

Redondo Beach Business Court is a joint venture of Carson-based Overton, Moore & Associates and Copley Real Estate Advisors. The Goodglick Company of Los Angeles represented both the developers and TRW.
