U.N. to Aid Afghans Taking Refuge in Iran

ROME —
The U.N. World Food Program said Wednesday that it will give food aid worth $4.6 million to about 266,000 Afghan refugees in Iran.
The Rome-based organization, which provides emergency aid to victims of civil strife and natural disasters, said in a statement the aid will be in the form of wheat, rice, vegetable oil and dried milk.
