The Irish rock band U2 set off a few tremors during a concert in Rome on Wednesday. The band’s sound rumbled through two exclusive neighborhoods with such volume it touched off an earthquake alarm and startled residents. Police and fire stations said residents of the swank Parioli and Flaminio neighborhoods flooded local emergency switchboards with reports of rattling windows and shaking furniture. Officials investigated and found the cause was not an earthquake but the high volume of sound coming from the Flaminio Stadio, where U2 was performing.
