You Can’t Take It With You, Widow Proves

ENNA, Sicily —
Antonio Macaluso, killed in a traffic crash four months ago, was buried with $4,725 hidden in a secret jacket pocket. His wife recovered the money by having the body exhumed.
When his widow, Maria Cammarata, 42, discovered the money missing from her husband’s personal effects, she petitioned authorities of this central Sicilian town to have the body exhumed, Italy’s ANSA news agency reported. A judge granted the request, and the money was retrieved from the 47-year-old Macaluso’s jacket.
