The Release of Singleton

Share

After reading your editorial (May 28), “Flaw in the Law,” I am absolutely incensed!

What Lawrence Singleton is “entitled” to is the same sentence he gave his victim. Why should he be “entitled” to “live as a free man” and under “the protection of the law?” Did his victim have protection from him? Is she free?

Everything about this case screams out to criminals that their rights, feelings and needs are the only ones to be considered. The victim isn’t even a secondary issue.

I am proud of the people who have had the courage to say, “We don’t want him.” I am also proud to say “I don’t either!”
