New Zealand Tightens S. African Visa Rule

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa —
South Africans seeking a New Zealand visa will have to apply to that country’s embassies outside Africa, the British consulate in Johannesburg said Friday.
Vice Consul Peter Duffy said his consulate, which had provided hundreds of South Africans with New Zealand visas annually, had been instructed to refer South African applications to New Zealand missions in Europe and Australia.
