NO! JAMES!

Share

Everybody knows that the intrepid James Bond always beds three comely women. (Remember his last outing, “A View to a Kill,” in which his paramours were Tanya Roberts, Grace Jones and Fiona Fullerton?) But be prepared for a shock in “The Living Daylights,” in which James (Timothy Dalton) has only one tryst!

“You can’t have him alley catting around anymore in the era of AIDS,” explained Richard Maibaum, who’s written/co-written 13 Bonds, including this one. “It’s (AIDS) been such a shock to our sexual psyche, so indiscriminate sex is out. It’s just the sensible and responsible thing to do in reflecting the world around us.”
