Population Bomb a Dud?

Wattenberg notes that U.N. projections show world population doubling from its present 5 billion to 10 billion by the middle of the next century. Then, population may begin shrinking. Of course it will, as millions begin dying of starvation, or die in the wars fought over the few habitable parcels of space left on planet Earth

Would someone kindly tell old Ben to remove his rose-colored glasses before it’s too late?
