My sincere congratulations to CBS for the showing of “Memorial Day” and “Baby Girl Scott.” Never have I been so impressed with the honesty of TV in depicting events that touch so many people. “Memorial Day,” with the acting of Mike Farrell, gave much insight to those of us who were not involved with Vietnam through our families or friends. “Baby Girl Scott” was an indictment of the medical profession that was sorely needed. The arrogance of the many doctors who feel they must play God just for the advancement of science and their careers was something that desperately needed to be pointed out.
