Discount Drugs in Mexico

The Mexican government on Monday began discounting prices on more than 100 basic medicines that can be bought without a doctor’s prescription. The Health and Commerce departments announced the program, designed to enable poor families to purchase needed drugs despite a high inflation rate that has cut into workers’ purchasing power.
