Friendship With Canada Noted

WASHINGTON —
President Reagan signed a declaration proclaiming both Thursday and today United States-Canada Days of Peace and Friendship.
The proclamation recognizes the July 1 Canada Day and the July 4 Independence Day of the United States as “a truly appropriate time to commemorate the friendship between our two countries,” the President said in a statement.
