Charges of murder and air piracy were filed against an accused Lebanese hijacker whom West Germany refused to extradite to the United States, the Justice Ministry in the state of Hesse reported. Mohammed Ali Hamadi was earlier charged with illegal possession of explosives. Hamadi, 22, is suspected of involvement in the 1985 hijacking of Trans World Airlines Flight 847 to Beirut. A U.S. Navy diver was killed in that incident.
