Brat Packing

The article that David Blum wrote in your magazine (“The Brat Pack Strikes Back,” June 21) was no better than the original one (in which he so brilliantly labeled the likes of Judd Nelson, Rob Lowe and Emilio Estevez “the Brat Pack”). In fact, it was worse, because it presented no information we care about or would even like to know. It was filled, instead, with uninteresting and biased tales of his pursuit of acknowledgement and compensation for an article that wasn’t even good journalism when it was published more than three years ago. I vote we ignore him and his “journalistic” counterparts in their future attempts to dig and claw up anything and everything they can get out of the private lives of high-profile figures (the key word there being private ) in order to bring attention to themselves.
