NBC’s reruns again dominated the Nielsens scene, with the annual baseball event taking over the usual “Murder, She Wrote” CBS spot (“Murder” finished eighth this week). But the usually sturdy “60 Minutes” fell off badly compared to last week, perhaps reflecting the general CBS News ratings malaise. And even though it’s begun listing its Nielsen numbers--a courageous step--Fox Broadcasting made absolutely no dent in the charts; in fact, its weekend shows brought up the rear. Weekly network numbers: NBC, 13.5 rating/26 audience share; CBS, 9.8/19; and ABC, 8.8/17. The complete Nielsens list appears on Page 10. (One ratings point equals 874,000 homes; audience share refers to percentage of sets tuned to a program).
