Sgt. Clayton J. Lonetree, the only former Marine guard at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow facing espionage charges in the sex-for-secrets scandal, goes before a court-martial today, the corps said. The military trial at the Quantico, Va., Marine base will be open to the media, a spokesman said. Lonetree, 25, of St. Paul, Minn., is to be tried on charges including espionage, three counts of conspiracy to commit espionage and five counts of disclosing the identity of U.S. intelligence operatives to Soviet agents.
