Burmese Appendectomy

RANGOON, Burma —
Surgeons have successfully removed an acutely infected appendix from Burmese President San Yu, 69, a statement said Wednesday. San Yu, regarded as heir-apparent to Burmese leader Ne Win, 76, had heart surgery in the United States in 1985.
