Jack in the Box Operator Says Net Income Rose 57%

Foodmaker, the San Diego-based operator and franchiser of Jack in the Box restaurants, reported that net income rose 57% to a record $5.5 million for the third quarter ended June 30. Revenue rose 5% to $142.5 million.

Net income rose 34% to $9.5 million for the first three quarters of the fiscal year. Revenue rose 6% to $451.7 million.
