Theater Rising in Santa Ana

A mid-November opening is scheduled for the $6-million, eight-screen Edwards Cinemas theater within the $300-million Hutton Centre business complex being built by Hutton Development Co. at the Newport (55) Freeway and MacArthur Boulevard in Santa Ana.
Ken Hyosaka of Witemberg, Hyosaka & Associates, Los Angeles, is the theater complex architect, with Tyler & Cobleigh Inc. of Pasadena, serving as general contractor.
The cinema complex will have 2,482 seats, and a 516-space, five-level parking structure will be available for patrons on evenings and weekends.
