Riot Erupts at Boat Races

PASCO, Wash. — Police in riot gear used tear gas to break up a disturbance Sunday when possibly 2,000 youths in town to watch hydroplane races threw bottles and rocks at police officers. About a dozen youths were arrested, police said.
