‘Catastrophic Legislation’

Our health situation in the good old USA is abominable. I am strongly for socialized medicine as in England, Sweden, Germany, France, et al . Our Medicare program is not enough; a whole new setup following Europe’s plans is needed. I’m a retired registered nurse and follow health-care hospitals avidly. I was employed at Los Angeles County General 25 years and at 70 had to retire. Though a nonagenarian, I am still active in various activities, especially health care, and last but not least, reading the Los Angeles Times from cover to cover daily.
