ROME —
The Italian government will help finance construction of a geothermal power station in Nicaragua to harness heat from the Earth’s crust for electricity. Foreign Ministry counselor Marco Rocca said Italy will contribute $25 million to co-finance the project on the slopes of the Momotombo Volcano.
