Bogus delicacies won’t cut it for “Frank’s Place,” a new CBS comedy set in a New Orleans Creole restaurant. Executive producer Hugh Wilson said he has enlisted chef Austin Leslie, owner of Chez Helene in New Orleans, to personally prepare the Cajun cuisine rather than force the actors and star Tim Reid to eat “prop” food warmed on a hot plate by the property master. The biggest problem for the plan, it would seem, is getting consistently fresh crayfish.
