Kings Road Entertainment said it will enter the field of domestic theatrical distribution of motion pictures. The Los Angeles-based company said it will also substantially increase its feature film production and aggressively seek to acquire films from independent producers. Kings Road is an independent producer of mainstream motion pictures for domestic and foreign distribution, and for subsequent licensing on pay, network and syndicated television and on videocassettes.
