Gunmen Kill Farmer in Western Zimbabwe

HARARE, Zimbabwe — A white farmer was shot dead Thursday by unidentified gunmen in Zimbabwe’s western Matabeleland province, his family said.
John Norvall, 53, was shot while driving round his farm at Nyamandlovu, 30 miles north of the Matabeleland capital Bulawayo. The death brought to eight the number of whites murdered in Matabeleland and neighboring provinces since May.
