90 Court Officials Fired by Nigeria

ABIDJAN, Ivory Coast —
The Nigerian military government dismissed an estimated 90 court officials, including judges, in northwestern Sokoto state following an investigation of the state’s judicial system, Nigeria radio reported Friday.
The broadcast, monitored in Abidjan, said the officials were “dismissed, terminated, or compulsorily retired.”
It did not name those dismissed but said the results of the investigation would be released later.
