Democracy in Central America

There are those who are shedding buckets of tears over the Marxist government in Nicaragua. They cite tourism as a sign of an open society. They speak of support of the populous and the tears flow. They bemoan the fact that the regime must arm itself to the teeth to defend itself.

Are there any tears for the tens of thousands of innocent people in Afghanistan who have been bombed into oblivion? What of the maimed and the thousands more innocent victims of this Marxist liberation? Does a tear flow anywhere?

If we are all cried out in Nicaragua, then the bodies can rot in the hot sun of Afghanistan, where only the mothers and spouses are weeping over their fallen loved ones.
