Norwalk : 4-Year Degree in Logistics

Cerritos College, a two-year community college, will offer a four-year bachelor of science degree in logistics under an agreement with Weber State College of Ogden, Utah.

Beginning Sept. 28, second-year students studying logistics at Cerritos College will be able to take classes leading toward a bachelor of science degree in logistics from Weber State. This is a first for the Norwalk-based Cerritos College, which normally offers two-year associate of arts degrees.

The first two years of the logistics program are currently being taught at the Norwalk campus. The second two years also will be taught at the campus but by Weber State personnel.

Logistics studies the planning, handling and movement of personnel, material and facilities, especially in the aerospace industry.
