Ex-Miami Mayor to Run Against Winner of 1985

Maurice Ferre, mayor of Miami for 12 years until he was unseated by Xavier Suarez in 1985, announced Tuesday that he will attempt a comeback. Ferre, who filed for office at City Hall, will face Cuban-born Suarez and black attorney Arthur Teele in the primary Nov. 3.
