The New Shotgun Weddings

It was rather sad to read about the new shotgun weddings. Young people today have a fear of intimacy. There’s so much freedom from old, structured traditions, and that causes great conflict when contemplating marriage, babies, et cetera.

Often pregnancy is the only logical reason for getting married. Biological time clocks create stress and pressure, too. Young people should consider the loss of prospective grandparents (whose) time clocks are running out even faster.
