Gaden Grove : Dornan to Be Honored by Jewish Organization

Rep. Robert K. Dornan (R-Garden Grove) will be presented with the Jewish National Fund’s “National Tree of Life” award Sunday at a dinner at the Hyatt Regency Alicante Hotel in Garden Grove. Rabbi J. Simcha Cohen, a board member of the Jewish National Fund, will present the award to Dornan at the 6:30 p.m. dinner. Past recipients of the award include former President Gerald Ford, Bob Hope, former Vice President Hubert Humphrey, actress Elizabeth Taylor and Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley. Proceeds from the dinner will be used to finance a reforestation project in Israel.
