Work Begun on Fontana Shop Center
Work is under way on the $4.5-million, 30,000-square-foot Southridge Village Shopping Center, the first such development in the master-planned community of Southridge in Fontana. About 15 businesses are expected to take space in the project, on the northwest corner of Cherry and Banana avenues.
The center is a joint venture of Newport Beach-based I. S. Properties and Palm Springs-based Parliament Properties. Completion is expected by the end of the year.
