Soviet Jewish dissident Ida Nudel, granted permission last week to leave the Soviet Union, said she expects to emigrate to Israel in a few weeks. “Initially, it will take three or four weeks to organize all the papers, to get a visa, to go through customs and go out,” she said from Moscow in an interview with Israel’s armed forces radio. Nudel, 55, first applied for an exit visa in 1971. She spent four years in exile in Siberia on charges of malicious hooliganism.
