Two Israeli Teen-Agers Saved From Dead Sea

JERUSALEM —
Two teen-agers were rescued from the Dead Sea on Monday after spending eight hours clinging to a single life preserver. The boys said they stayed calm after their boat overturned by thinking about homework and soda and talking about girls.
Oded Levinger, 15, and Alon Samira, 16, of Kibbutz Ein Gedi went into the sea Sunday when a gust of wind capsized their boat.
Israeli air force jets, helicopters, police and army troops took part in the search. The Dead Sea marks the border between Israel and Jordan.
