Norwegian Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland has had it with the incessant media requests for feature-style interviews with her. So the 48-year-old official has made a brief film aimed at keeping TV news crews at arm’s length. “Roughly two-thirds of all requests we get for interviews focus on the women-in-government angle,” Oeivind Oestang, Brundtland’s spokesman, told Reuters on Thursday. “We thought the film would reduce the number of TV teams interrupting her schedule to film the same thing,” he said. The eight-minute video, given free of charge to foreign television teams, will show Brundtland at work and at home.
