William R. Rattazzi has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Calprop Corp., a Los Angeles-based residential development firm. Before joining Calprop, Rattazzi served as vice president of Newhall Land & Farming and as senior vice president of residential development for Valencia Co., a division of Newhall Land.
