Diceon Electronics of Irvine reported net income of $9.5 million for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, an increase of 35% over year-earlier net income of $7 million.

The manufacturer of multilayer printed circuit boards said its fiscal 1987 revenues rose 30% to $111 million, from $85.2 million a year earlier.

The company attributed its improved results to a strengthening domestic computer industry and its May, 1987, acquisition of Mountain View-based Symtron, an electronic component maker.
