Practice Bomb Hits Town

THE HAGUE —
A Dutch NF-5 jet fighter plane accidentally dropped a practice bomb on a small town in the eastern Netherlands during a military exercise on Wednesday, but it caused no serious harm, a Defense Ministry official said. The 12-pound bomb smashed cobblestones in Delden, 18 miles from the West German border. No other damage or injuries were reported, the official said.
