Romeo Stands 3rd in Ladies’ Bowling

Robin Romeo of Van Nuys is third with 9,789 pins after Wednesday’s sixth round of the $30,000 Ladies Touring Players Association Ebonite Firebolt Invitational at Algonquin Lanes.

Leanne Barrette, of Oklahoma City, Okla., maintained a 266-pin lead over Aleta Sill of Garden City, Mich. Barrette averaged 230 over her last eight games for a total of 10,128 and had a match play record of 14-8-2.

Sill, with a match-play record of 16-7-1, was in second place with a total of 9,862.
