Oil prices rose in active trading, with the November delivery price for key West Texas Intermediate crude rising 21 cents per 42-gallon barrel to $20.05 on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Analysts said oil prices were bolstered by the rebounding stock market and reports of shrinking inventories in gasoline and home heating oil. Prices of refined products closed substantially higher.
