Printronix Inc. Posts $515,000 Net Income

Printronix Inc., an Irvine-based manufacturer of computer printers, reported fiscal 1988 second-quarter net income of $515,000, contrasted with a year-earlier loss of $1.3 million.

Sales for the period ended Sept. 25 dropped 3.5% to $31 million from $32.1 million for the second quarter of fiscal 1987.

For the first six months, the company reported a net loss of $1 million, contrasted with year-earlier net earnings of $482,000 in the previous year. Revenue dropped to $58.5 million contrasted with $62.1 million for the first six months of fiscal 1987.
