JDL Figures Given Prison for Attacks

NEW YORK —
The former leader and two members of the militant Jewish Defense League were sentenced Monday for their roles in several bombings, including a tear-gas attack at Lincoln Center last year that injured 20.
The former national chairman, Victor Vancier, 30, of Queens got 10 years in prison. Murray Young, 59, of Long Island, a member of the JDL governing board, got a five-year term.
Sharon Katz, 41, of Manhattan was fined $5,000.
