Energy Factors Signals $1.3 Million in Profit
Energy Factors reported a $1.3-million net profit for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, a 36% increase from the $969,000 net for the third quarter of 1986. Revenue rose by 36% to $10 million, up from $7.3 million during last year’s third quarter.
Increased revenue from renegotiated contracts and interest income from the sale of stock to Sithe Group accounted for the net profit increase, according to Energy Factors President Ralph Grutsch.
Energy Factors reported a $868,000 net loss and revenue that rose by 4% to $24.7 million for the nine-month period ended Sept. 30. The company reported a $4-million net profit for the first nine months of 1986.
