Nuclear Warning an Error

NASHUA, N.H. —
A siren intended to warn of a nuclear attack accidentally sounded at 3 a.m. today and residents swamped police with an estimated 2,000 telephone calls as the wailing continued for 35 minutes. “It was an interesting night,” said Police Lt. Joseph Burrows.
