U.S.-Soviet Ozone Studies Set

WASHINGTON —
American and Soviet scientists will join in more than 30 climate research projects next year, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced today.
Much of the focus will be on learning more about the depletion of the layer of ozone gas high in the atmosphere over the Antarctic, officials said.
