The National Christmas Tree Assn. says shoppers will have at least one reason for holiday cheer this year: The price of Christmas trees will not go up. Tree prices should average $3 to $5 per foot, about the same as last year. The price is steady because of a healthy supply of trees and because the price of producing trees has not increased.
